Friday after Jay and I got home from work, we all went for a cool autumn walk together. I thought it was rather cool, but Madison thoroughly enjoyed herself as always!!
Saturday to her dismay, we had to wake up early in order to make it to her 9:00am veterinary appointment for her yearly check up. I know, I know...what was I thinking 9:00am on a Saturday?!?! Ha ha ha ha! Note to self...never do that again!! Maddie hung in there like a champ. I was really worried because she had a small bump that appeared on her back that I wanted to be checked out. Everything went really well! Four shots later, and a thorough checking of the previous mentioned bump, and they are certain it's only a fatty cyst. We were assured it's nothing to worry about. Whewwww...what a relief!!! The rest of the day consisted of pampering Maddie. She was showered with lots of love and some of her favorite treats (cheese and steak-she was given a few pieces after we were done with dinner).
Now on this Sunday afternoon, Maddie is resting on my lap while I blog to all of her loyal friends!

oh! the "fatty cyst!" gwendolyn had one in february of 2010, the same month that her eye fell out! after the diagnosis, i rubbed the heck out of that thing, wanting it to pop! and it finally did. maddie looks so comfortable on your lap. adorable! glad that she had a lovely weekend. :) x
ReplyDeleteI'm very intrigued by you "rubbing the heck" out of it. Is that what they told you to do? When it pops is it painful for the dog? Do tell!!
